Community Groups

Community groups gather together throughout the week to build community and dive deeper into God’s Word.

FIND A GROUP

Community takes time, but it’s worth it.

Discipleship happens in the context of community—where the finished work of Jesus Christ is not just believed, but lived out through mutual encouragement, and growing obedience to His Word. Built on the foundation of the Gospel, our Community Groups are safe, grace-filled spaces where you can be known, grow in faith, and find true refuge in Christ alongside others.

We meet in homes throughout the week to study Scripture, pray together, share meals, and walk through life—together. Whether you’re brand new to the faith or have followed Jesus for years, there’s a place for you to belong. Come find friendship, encouragement, and a deeper connection to Christ and His people.

Bryann’s Story

“I am always inspired by His life while He was here on earth. Jesus did not only spend time at the synagogues, but He actively pursued being in community and “the breaking of bread”. I think many of us miss the mark when we choose to live a “Sunday Experience only” Christian life because it is actually within the context of a gospel-centered community where we get to experience Jesus in a deeper way.Life is tough as it is, and in a society that actively proclaimshyper-independence and isolation as a good thing, I want to remind you that we were never created to do life alone. Community group is an opportunity for us to grow together, closer to God, and for us to experience Jesus in the breaking of bread, just like the disciples did. In community groups, I have not only experienced Jesus in my life more viscerally, but I was also gently corrected and discipled through some of the difficult theological truths. Through community groups, I have grown closer in community here at Refuge, challenged out of my comfort zone, encouraged and been prayed for through my life circumstances, and honestly, got a whole lot more competitive when it comes to game nights. Can I encourage you to perhaps consider joining a community group here at Refuge? Even if you are a little different, or perhaps it may seem like you already have your life together, I promise we are all a little weird and we want todo life together with you.
